That was a huge reply, Tom. I'm glad that you read my signature. I stamped it on my autosig a long time ago and haven't removed it because I feel it's very important, especially on a gallery like this where homosexuality is so greatly discriminated and hazed upon, however, I think that it's awesome to learn that you accept everything, just like me.

So this woman is going to the Beijing Olympics this year? I'm happy for her, it'll be a memorable experience. I really wish that I could go as well but alas, I have school to go to in the summer. But anyway, I think my Grandfather, whom just returned to China will probably go as well, I'm not sure. Haven't spoken to him in a while since he's busy with his new wife after all. I'll definitely watch it on TV though! It's so exciting~

By the by, in Harvard Square the other day, there was a 'Free Tibet' rally. I should look that up more when I get the chance. My best friend told me the gist about it but I want to learn more.

About my pride, yep, I'm proud of who I am and I'm glad that she is as well. There are things about China that I don't like but it's true about any person towards their home country. And yes, that's what I'm doing. I want to do a lot of things about and for my country. So in a way, I'm like Alicia! Yup, yup.

Given the ambiguity of your message, I can only assume it relates to your byline. I don't care about one's sexual orientation or color, be them purple, green or orange; hetero, gay or whatever. Politics on the other hand are a different matter. You might find this interesting... I was chatting with my neighbor this afternoon in the Commons. We've chatted many times. She's past seventy and Chinese. She left Shanghai in 1949. She was from a wealthy family and married a poor man who became a celebrated scientist in America. I did an internet search and she's on the money... if not somewhat humble. Anyway, she went to Manchuria this winter and told me how much better life has become there these past years. She always tells me how great China is and I happily listen. She already has her tickets for the Beijing Olympics. I don't know why I'm telling you this but she, like you, is most proud of what and who she is. Shouldn't it be about what we do that's important?
